Year 8 – Staffordshire Regiment Museum, Lichfield (8RD, 8NC and Half of 8EW)
November 28 @ 9:15 am - 2:45 pm| £10.00
Year 8 pupils will be visiting the Staffordshire Regiment Museum at Whittington Barracks, Lichfield. This opportunity will give your child a first hand experience of what World War I was like and give them the chance to try on the clothes of a soldier. They will also explore the museum where they can see a large collection of artefacts from WWI.
We will be leaving school around 9:15am and will return at approximately 2:45pm. Pupils will need to wear school uniform and bring a packed lunch, a water bottle and a waterproof coat in case of poor weather.
The trip will involve a voluntary contribution of £10.00 per child to cover the museum and transport costs. We would really appreciate your support with this and if we do not have enough contributions to cover the overall costs, we may have to cancel the trip.
